CFC Cause of the Week: Persons with Disabilities

Persons with Disabilities graphic

About 15% of the world’s population lives with a form of physical or mental disability.1 Disabilities can make accomplishing even a seemingly menial, everyday task a feat. CFC-supported charitable organizations can help make the impossible possible, and provide a variety of services to aid those in need including equipment to increase independence, in-home assistance, education, social services, and supportive employment.

Here's how you can make an impact:

  • couple supporting persons with disabilities $35 provides an individual with hearing loss access to educational opportunities, discounts on products, support, and more.
  • $200 a month provides an hour of pool therapy.
  • $400 covers the cost of supporting one special needs athlete through a sport for one season.
