My cause is military families. While someone is serving in the military, their family serves right along with them.
After they leave service and become a veteran, the family continues the journey with them. When something goes wrong and the servicemember, or veteran, is injured or wounded, the family hurts right along with them. The government has many programs in place to take care of the servicemember and veteran as they heal, but too often the family is left out. Just as the family hurts along with the veteran, they need to heal as well and are often a key part of the healing process for the veteran.
